Meet DR. Nina Walsh

Dr. Nina Walsh grew up in Moscow, Russia, surrounded by nature, herbs, and both traditional and modern medicine. Her mother was a surgeon, and her great uncle led a major medical school—so healing was always part of her world. She also had a deep curiosity about other cultures and studied several languages, including English, German, Italian, and Swedish.

When Nina was a student, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed away a few years later. This loss had a profound impact on her. It showed her that Western medicine alone wasn’t always enough—and that balance, self-care, and prevention are essential for lasting health.

After moving to the U.S., Nina began exploring natural healing for herself and her friends—juicing, herbs, nutrition, breathwork, and yoga—while running a business in international commerce. Eventually, she realized her true calling was helping people feel their best. She enrolled at Bastyr University to study Naturopathic Medicine and Acupuncture.

After five years of study and an externship in Shanghai, China, Nina graduated in 2008 with dual degrees. That same year, she opened Flow Natural Medicine and Acupuncture in Bellevue, WA, focusing on prevention, women’s health, detox, longevity, and regenerative care.

Nina continues to expand her knowledge with advanced training in:

  • Western & Chinese Herbal Medicine for Oncology
  • IV Therapy
  • Bio-identical Hormone Therapy
  • Ozone Therapy
  • Regenerative Medicine

She’s also led wellness retreats, spoken at events and podcasts, and volunteers with senior wellness programs in King County.

Outside of work, Nina loves dancing tango, gardening, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and pets.
